On Set: Phones Away & Confidentiality
A quick but important reminder for all RubyBlue talent heading onto set – recently requested by a production, and good professional practice on every job.
Phones away on set
When you’re on set, please put your phone away – you can be removed from set for using it. Stay present, enjoy the experience, and switch your phone off. Even if performers from other agencies are on theirs, let it never be a RubyBlue artist. If you’re working alongside someone who has just joined RubyBlue, kindly let them know why phones stay away.
Confidentiality & social media
Absolutely no content relating to a production is to be shared, posted, discussed or referenced on social media of any kind. Best advice: don’t tell anyone anything until the production is officially released.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Behind-the-scenes photos or videos
- Images taken on set or at unit base
- Costume, hair or makeup photos
- Cast or crew sightings
- Filming locations
- Call sheets or production paperwork
- Any mention of your involvement prior to official release
Thank you for your professionalism – it’s a big part of what makes RubyBlue artists a pleasure to have on set.
